Last minute reminders for September Parent Committee Meeting on Sunday, 9/21 at 7pm Red Wagon Neighborhood Show N Sell 9/28 at 1pm (Sign up here RED WAGON SALE SIGN UP ) October Events 10/4 - Can & Bottle Drive - This fundraiser has 2 parts. Circulating flyers in your neighborhood & collecting the bottles & cans. We raised over $300 last year with this fundraiser. Please let us know (using the link below) if you would like to circulate flyers in your neighborhood and/or collect the cans & bottles. Flyers will be delivered to you the week of the 22nd. 10/6 - Den Meetings 6:30pm. at the church (downstairs) 10/18-19 - Halloween Spooktacular - This event is hosted by Longhouse Council. It is a fun overnight camping experience for Cub Scout families. The cost is $15 per family to attend. Registration is due by 10/5.I am attaching a link to the flyer. To register complete the form and submit it to the Council office with payment. HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR REGISTRATION FORM 10/19 - Parent Committee Meeting at the church 7pm 10/20 - Den Meetings 6:30pm. at the church (downstairs) Please bring your popcorn orders & payment to this meeting! 10/24 - Pack Halloween Party - 6:30pm at Springside Farm located at 1850 Rte. 91 Fabius. This was a great time last year. Scouts do not need to wear uniforms. Dress warm and bring flash lights. We will be having fun in the dark! We will cancel for rain and reschedule at the Farms availability on Sat. or Sun. We will start the night with awards earned, then everyone is welcome to enjoy the Bon Fire, Maze, Zip line, Pedal cars, Animal Barn, Giant sling shot, tube slide, and last years favorite... the hay jump. Families are welcome, there is no cost for adults, siblings are $5 each. We would like to have a few parents sign up to bring snack. Please let us know if you and your family are coming and if you can bring snack using the link below. 11/8 - 21st Annual Scout O - hosted by CNY Orienteering Club at Highland Forest. This event is for cubs and a parent. Teaches the basics of orienteering and map reading. Map & Compass belt loop will be awarded to scouts that have not previously earned this award. All scouts receive a patch. The pack will cover the the cost of this event. Please RSVP by 10/8 if you plan to attend. Start time will be determined by the club and announced when we register (usually a morning event). Plan to spend the day (bring lunch/snacks/drinks) and dress for the weather (Rain or Shine)! Longhouse Council is offering tickets to the Frozen Dome Classic on 11/22, Syracuse Crunch vs Utica Comets for $18.50 per ticket. If you are interested in purchasing these tickets you can complete this form and turn it into the Council office with payment. June Picnic and Campout
We'll be at Mill Run Park on 6/14 for a picnic and subsequent overnight. You can arrive any time after 3pm, and we eat at 5pm. Dens will all advance at this final meeting of the year. All remaining awards will be handed out. We will also be doing our first Rain Gutter Regatta during the picnic. This event is open to everyone—for the picnic and overnight—All families attending the picnic will need to bring a dish to pass. |

2/28 Friday 6:30 February Pack Meeting Disability Awareness & Bookraiser At this pack meeting we will be completing the Disability Awareness Belt Loop. All cubs should come to the meeting with a new story book donation. We will have 4 stations set up and the boys will be split by dens to rotate through them. The stations will include;
Blue & Gold Banquet on 3/16 at 4pm. Please come and join us at the church hall for a special celebration of our Webelos 2 Den. Laura O'Neal, the Webelos 2 Den Leader, will proudly cross-over 9 Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. This is a special ceremony and dinner to celebrate the accomplishments of our oldest Cubs. Many of these boys will be awarded the "Heavy Shoulder" award, as they have gone above and beyond the requirements and accomplished all the available Arrow of Light sections.The whole family is welcome. This will be a pot-luck dinner, please bring a dish to pass. Volunteers are needed for set up & decorating and clean up. Please let us know if you are available to help.
